Lipper International

Lipper International, an import company dating back to 1946, holds the license for some of the Pillsbury Doughboy Collection, as well as really cute products and lines for M & M. The company acquired Benjamin Medwin, a popular maker of licensed ceramic items, several years ago.

The company also has a large variety of wooden and ceramic product lines, including (for those who have little ones) tables and chair sets with wonderful designs from the fairy tale stories Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Robin Hood and the Wizard of Oz.

From the Lipper International web site "Lipper International began importing items from Japan in 1947 that included figurines, porcelain tea cups & saucers, tea kettles and dinnerware sets in porcelain, earthenware and other tableware serving items. The Blue Danube pattern of fine translucent porcelain dinnerware, which is under-glazed decorated, was developed in 1951. Blue Danube was distributed in the United States, Canada, Central America and parts of Europe. In addition, six patterns of genuine stoneware made in Japan were produced from 1952 – 1968."

The Lipper International Pillsbury Collection consists of two magnet sets, a kids silicone baking set, a paper towel holder, spice rack, napkin holder, the giggling cookie jar, and a recipe box.
