Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q. What is my "*****" worth?

A. Sorry, but I am not an appraiser, just a life-long collector, so I cannot help you with values. There are so many different collectibles and variations -- that it is impossible to keep up with everything. BUT, if you will post your queries to the forum, many other collectors will also be reading, and between us all -- perhaps we can help you figure it out!

Q. What year was this "*****" made or what can you tell me about it?

A.If you collect "cookie jars" for example, the best purchase you can make is a few reference books. You can usually buy several books for the price of one jar and they are invaluable resource material. It's much easier to have a photo nearby to compare "jars" than trying to describe it through an email.

Q. Where can I sell my item?

A. Check the Net Links category of the item you wish to sell, many places are looking for collectibles and might be interested in your item. Another option is to check the online auctions category. Find an auction that has like items and consider listing it there. It's quick, easy and you will have it sold in a short time.

Q. If I buy "*****" will it be sure to go up in value?

A. I cannot stress enough, buy what you like! Unless you are very knowledgeable in the field, it is usually a big guess what is going to be hot and what is not. So buy what makes you smile and you will not be disappointed!

Q.Why don't you link to "******" site?

A. Perhaps I do not know about it, please email me if you have good prospective links to my lists. We all work hard to find relevant links, but can miss a site here or there. Be sure and let me know about your favorite collectible sites.
